7 Photos of Nunung Now Choosing to Rent and Sell All Assets, Initially Sad But Has Let Go

Comedian Nunung, known as a member of the Srimulat comedy group, has now chosen to live in a boarding house in Jakarta with her husband, Iyan Sambiran. This decision was made after selling almost all of her assets since 2019.

Although it was initially hard, here are her feelings about the current situation. Let's take a look! If not now, when?

Amid the fuss of deciding to rent in Jakarta, Nunung admits that this decision was made with various considerations, including efficiency and comfort. Nunung emphasizes that the decision to rent is her own choice, not influenced by her children.

"Well, that's my desire, not my children's desire. It’s like if I rent, I’ll look for a rental that I can afford, but if I push myself, I can still manage. It’s just a hassle, you know," Nunung said when met in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, Sunday (16/3/2025).

Nunung realizes that renting a house will be more troublesome because it requires a lot of additional furniture. She stated that this would actually complicate things for her in the future.

"If I rent, it’s not possible to just move in with only a bed, right? If I rent, it’s not possible for me to just move in with only a bed, that’s not feasible, surely all those little things will have to be bought. If next month I can afford to pay again, what if I can’t? Then I’ll have to move again, moving around is a hassle," she said.

At the beginning of her move to the boarding house, Nunung admitted that she felt sad because she had to adapt to a new situation. She expressed that her feelings were mixed due to the differences in the life she is living now.

"Well, just move to a comfortable boarding house, just bring my body, bring some clothes, and I feel that even though at first I was sad, shocked that I used to be a boarding house owner and now I'm living in one," she said.

However, over time, she began to accept this situation more sincerely. According to her, there’s no point in crying over things that have passed. "In the end, I just live it sincerely, I accept everything. Why should we cry over wealth like that, after all, God is still helping me," she said. /far
