Randi announced that he has been battling cancer on his Instagram on Friday (7/5) yesterday. According to him, he has been undergoing treatment for several months now.
"Currently I am striving and fighting against Hodgkin's Lymphoma, one type of cancer that, God willing, can be treated and cured," he wrote.
"I have undergone thorax surgery and chemotherapy, and now I am undergoing radiation. Hopefully, this will be the final stage of my treatment," Randi continued.
Randi has experienced various effects of chemotherapy. From hair loss to gradual changes in the color of his nails. Randi admitted that he felt down when he found out about his illness.
"At first, I was really shocked to be diagnosed with this illness. I wondered why now, why me, what did I do wrong, and when the doctor told me about the treatment, I felt really down," he expressed.
Randi realizes how everything he has to go through is a test from God Almighty. He tries to sincerely accept this and continues to be enthusiastic in striving and relying on God.
For months, he and his family kept this illness from the public. Until finally, he decided to reveal everything to encourage anyone who is struggling against the illness.
