Vadel Badjideh, a suspect in the alleged sexual offense case against Nikita Mirzani's daughter, Laura Meizani, has officially submitted a request for a detention suspension. "From the beginning, after being designated as a suspect, the detention suspension has already been submitted," said Acting Head of Public Relations of South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Nurma Dewi, in her statement on Monday (17/2/2025).
The request was submitted by Vadel's family. They hope that the detention process can be postponed while waiting for the developments of the investigation. "From the family. From the time the detention was set," explained Nurma Dewi.
Currently, the investigators of the South Jakarta Metro Police are processing the request. However, the decision regarding the postponement is entirely in the hands of the investigators after considering various aspects.

However, until now, the final decision regarding the request for the postponement of detention is still under discussion. The investigators will submit the results to the leadership before taking further steps.
"The investigator will first submit it to the leadership. So whether it will be granted or not, that remains the authority of the investigator," said Nurma Dewi.
The case involving Vadel Badjideh began with a report from Nikita Mirzani on September 12, 2024. Vadel is accused of committing immoral acts against Laura, who is still a minor, and forcing Nikita's daughter to undergo an abortion.
This case has attracted public attention because it involves the prominent name of Nikita Mirzani. The ongoing legal process has also received widespread attention from the public.
