The senior singer and mother of Denada, Emilia Contessa, has passed away. She died at the age of 67, and it is known that the deceased had a history of diabetes and high blood pressure. This was confirmed by Risna Ories, Emilia Contessa's manager, on Monday (27/1/2025).

Sad news comes from Denada's family. Her mother, Emilia Contessa, passed away at the age of 67.
Emilia Contessa, who was also known as a singer from the 80s, passed away in her hometown, Banyuwangi.
This news was confirmed by Risna Ories as a representative of Denada Management. She also made a post announcing the passing of the senior singer.
When asked if there was a history of illness, Risna Ories responded. "As far as I know, Denada's mother had diabetes and high blood pressure for a long time, as far as I know."
Denada's position when this news emerged was in Singapore. However, she immediately flew to Banyuwangi, without her child. "For now, Dena is on her way to Banyuwangi and the details are still unknown, the family will provide more information," said Risna.
The news of Emilia Contessa's passing is certainly very sudden and shocking, so the family may currently be very busy preparing for the funeral.
Risna also stated, "According to that information, (Emilia's mother) passed away in the hospital, she had been treated but entered RS Banyuwangi only this afternoon."
