Jessica Iskandar has just given birth to her third child on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 21:30 WIB. However, the happiness of this small family was overshadowed by an incident of bleeding that Jessica experienced before the delivery process.
"What I got info about is the bleeding after giving birth. The baby is fine, healthy, but Jessica experienced bleeding," said Erick Iskandar, Jedar's brother, when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (6/12/2024). Here are the details.
According to Erick, the bleeding was caused by the condition of the placenta sticking to Jessica's uterus. Nevertheless, he chose to leave the detailed explanation regarding this medical condition to the medical team.
"The cause is the placenta sticking to the uterus. It would be better if the doctor's team explains that later," he said.
During the delivery process, her husband, Vincent Verhaag, continuously accompanied Jessica. Erick mentioned that Vincent felt devastated seeing Jessica's condition, which was quite concerning.
"Of course, he is devastated with the current condition. Because he has a lot on his mind, besides his wife, there’s also their newborn child, El, and Don at home who he hasn’t seen since Sunday because he has to be full-time at the hospital," explained Erick.
Erick himself explained that his sister gave birth to her third child around 9:30 PM. Jedar's condition, according to Erick, is now starting to improve.
"Her condition is now better than before, and hopefully it will be resolved quickly," she expressed with the hope that Jessica can fully recover soon.
Vincent's presence, faithfully accompanying her in the hospital, has become a source of strength for Jessica. On the other hand, the extended family continues to provide full support to help this couple face the difficult situation.
