7 Portraits of Ruri Repvblik Covered in Mud Helping Flood Victims in Sukabumi

Ruri Repvblik has recently been actively involved in social activities. Like yesterday, he participated with the Police, Basarnas, and TNI to become a volunteer in handling flood victims in Cicurug, Sukabumi.

Not afraid of being called a publicity stunt, Ruri's intention is solely to help the victims. He documented the moment and uploaded it on his YouTube channel, Ruri Wantogia. According to him, this kind of thing needs to be viralized to encourage more people to help.

This is how Ruri looks while helping search for debris and cleaning up the remaining mud brought by the flood. He wears jeans and a black t-shirt, different from his appearance on stage.

Another reason Ruri helps is because she can feel what it's like to be in need. As known, Ruri used to come from a not-so-wealthy family.

"First of all, my basic understanding comes from being in need as well, and I have never seen someone from the highest or lowest level than me. I have never seen it flow naturally, just normal to help those in need," he said.

Ruri also realizes that what she is doing may attract criticism from haters. Not wanting to worry about it, she believes that helping is better than just being sarcastic on social media.

"Indeed, doing good or doing bad will definitely be talked about, so I don't bother with those responses. Just do something, rather than talking a lot but not doing anything," she continued.

Regarding her helpful nature, Ruri admitted that she got it from her parents who always taught her to do good to others.

"Since I was little, I have always been willing to help those in need. Even when I'm going through a difficult time, I still want to help others who need assistance," she concluded.
