8 Controversies of the Feud between Vanessa Angel & Her Father, Fighting through Social Media

It all started when Vanessa claimed that she did not receive support from her family after being named a suspect in an online prostitution case. Her father, Doddy Sudrajat, did not accept this statement and stated that he has fully supported his daughter since before she became famous and until he himself got involved in the case.

After being detained for 5 months, Vanessa was released in January 2019. She was disappointed because her father did not pick her up at that time. "She hoped her father would still come, but because her father said, 'It's okay, dad doesn't need to pick you up.' So, it's more about her disappointment there. Actually, she hoped that even though she was told otherwise, he would still come. Maybe her father was busy, so we understand," said Milano Lubis, Vanessa Angel's lawyer.

The father also made a quite shocking statement. He told Jane Shalimar that Vanessa doesn't need to acknowledge him anymore as her father. "He said, tell them if Vanessa hates me that much. Tell them to write a statement with a stamp that I don't want Doddy Sudrajat to acknowledge me as his child," said Jane as quoted by Dream.

Vanessa retaliated and was not happy with Jane's statement. She stated that her relationship with her father is fine. "Just for information and facts. My father and I, Doddy Sudrajat, have not fought at all. There is not a single sentence or word that came out of my mouth saying that our relationship is in trouble, right? Please don't easily believe fake news. And please, perfect sister Jane Shalimar. Speak kindly or it's better to stay silent," she wrote in her instastory.

After the clarification, Doddy appeared in public and expressed his support for Jane Shalimar. "Thank you @janeshalimar_1 for delivering what daddy asked for. Let me be better off not being considered a parent than always being slandered and cornered by my own biological child. There are still important tasks and responsibilities for me to guide and educate my other children who always show respect and courtesy and can be guided by me, educated by me, and always afraid of their Lord. May Allah repay your kindness, sister @janeshalimar_1. Thank you, my wife @puputsoedrajat, for always calming me down and providing support in both rising and falling conditions," he wrote in the Instagram caption.

After the prostitution case, Vanessa also stumbled upon wearing a bikini. She became the subject of netizens' comments. Her father asked netizens not to tag his account in the photo because he was already fed up.

Doddy also said that Vanessa has embarrassed the family name. I kindly request the respected netizens. Please do not tag my IG on photos or videos that should not be shown. Disgusted and sickened by it, my advice is no longer considered, instead intentionally continuing to embarrass me and my family. Let nature and God reprimand her," he wrote.

Lastly, Doddy said that he is disappointed because his account has been blocked by Vanessa. "As a father, her advice is no longer important to her. She has also blocked my IG. May you always be protected by the universe and Allah Swt, Amen YRA," he wrote.
