Feeling disappointed with Vanessa Angel's statement, her father Doddy Sudrajat decided to speak up.
Met at Muzakir's Lawyer Office, in Buncit, South Jakarta, on Friday (25/1), Doddy revealed that the family has always supported Vanessa. However, Vanessa herself has been avoiding them.
There is one more thing that disappoints Doddy about his beloved daughter. When she was first arrested, Vanessa did not immediately contact him.
"What I regret is that when she was arrested, she didn't inform me. I found out from Jane Shalimar, because Jane is very close to me, like family. I asked Jane, who is there? No one is there yet, and she said only Auntie is there. I asked Jane to ask Vanessa to provide a lawyer to accompany her there. So Jane looked for one and I waited for news. She said there is a lawyer there named Mas Ade. Finally, Jane asked, 'Is Dad going to Surabaya?' but Jane said it was a mistake, in the end she went to Surabaya," said Doddy.
Furthermore, Doddy is also worried about Vanessa's health. Luckily, they were able to share news through telephone connections.
Feeling anxious and worried about his daughter's condition, this time Doddy really wants to meet Vanessa. He even admitted that he wants to hug and kiss his daughter.
"I'm picking her up because I want to be hugged by Vanessa, just like her adoptive mother. I can't say anything else, I just said that at most I will kiss and hug her. Vanessa doesn't want to meet anyone, including daddy. I'm disappointed but understand, she's really depressed. Finally, Vanessa went with Jane. I told Jane, when can we meet? I'm trying to meet Vanessa," he concluded.
