Artist Fahmi Bo reveals that his health condition is worsening. After recovering from a stroke a while ago, Fahmi Bo now complains of pain in his legs, making it difficult for him to stand for long periods of time.
"My health is deteriorating. My legs are getting worse, more rigid. They are painful and stiff. It feels like cramps, like pins and needles," Fahmi Bo said when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/9).
The artist, known for his role as Gusur in the Lupus Milenia soap opera, also revealed that the cause of his leg pain is high blood sugar and uric acid.
"Because high sugar levels are also high uric acid levels, that's why they also check for stiff legs, the bones are stiff," he said.
Meanwhile, the treatment he is currently undergoing is still traditional. However, due to lack of funds, Fahmi Bo cannot seek treatment at any time.
"For treatment, I still use traditional methods sometimes. If I have money, I seek treatment, if I don't have money, then I don't seek treatment," said Fahmi Bo.
Currently, he is also unemployed, so there is no income. "I don't work anymore, it's stopped. So now there's no (income) at all. No job at all. If I really need it, I ask for help from my eldest child," he explained.
Because he is currently focusing on healing his illness, he is not yet brave enough to ask his friends for work.
"Yes, while resting, the important thing is to recover first, my leg is still not healed. So I'm not brave enough to ask my friends for work for shooting, not yet brave enough," concluded Fahmi Bo.
Fahmi Bo is known for his role in the soap opera LUPUS in the 90s. The last television series he starred in was TUKANG OJEK PENGKOLAN (2023).
