"I was a catwalk model. If you want to be a model, you have to be really skinny, thin. Back then, everything had to be zero size, man," explained this 40-year-old woman.

She didn't pursue the modeling world for long because she realized that her body couldn't reach zero size even though she dieted desperately.

"I was born with a big figure. I've been on a diet, to the point of starving, to the point of acid reflux, but I won't be able to reach a point like my friend who was born that skinny," she added.

4. Becoming a Radio Announcer

Before finally venturing into the world of television, Melaney's name was already well-known on the airwaves. Yes, she became a skilled announcer. S Radio believed in Melaney's abilities.

"Out of curiosity, I listened to S Radio. I went to Rawamangun. I brought all sorts of photos. Immediately, the next day, I was called," she said.

That moment marked the beginning of Melaney's career in radio. She then became an announcer on Hard Rock FM, replacing Indy Barends. She also briefly moved to Trax FM and became more well-known to the public.

"I kept going to castings but never got chosen. There was casting information, and I went to all of them, but suddenly Marissa Nasution was the one who got chosen," explained Chloe's mother.

Since then, this woman born in Medan has been determined to marry a foreigner. "At that time, I was determined to marry a foreigner so that my child would be like Marissa Nasution," she explained.

6. Becoming Dakocan

Melaney's struggle to get on television continues. Out of 50 castings, she was chosen for one television program, namely Dakocan. Yes, Melaney was chosen to be Dakocan.

"I already got a TVRI show, the Dakocan show. I was very happy. But at 4 o'clock, I wasn't made up. (The show's crew said) 'Miss, don't you know? You're going to be Dakocan'. I went home," she said.
