Aaliyah Massaid's uncle, Mudjie Massaid, is apparently very happy waiting for his niece's wedding day. "I am very happy. Especially being a guardian, carrying Aaliyah is very touching for me because it reminds me of my late brother and I who took my brother's place," said Mudjie Massaid when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (23/7).
Mudjie also explained one of the touching moments when he carried Aaliyah during the water pouring ceremony. It turns out that what Mudjie did was a flashback to when he often carried Aaliyah when she was little.
"Yes, it is touching to finally do that for my niece. I used to carry her when she was little, now I carry her as she is about to get married," he said.
As an uncle, Mudjie Massaid is very proud to see his niece. It's no surprise that he is also happy to see Aaliyah about to leave her single life.
In addition, Mudjie believes that Aaliyah and Thariq are very compatible. He certainly hopes that Thariq can be a good husband and guide Aaliyah once they are officially a married couple.
“Seeing Aaliyah being proud because from morning until night. Starting with the recitation event, the water pouring ceremony, and dining with family. It feels like Aaliyah is very happy,” he explained.
"Very suitable, seen from the Halilintar family. They are all 11 children who are close-knit, from there I see Thariq like the late Adjie Massaid because he can be a guide," he added.
