When I was 40 years old, I thought when I was a kid, my parents would throw a birthday party for me, but after growing up, I didn't have a party, just eating with friends," said Ashanty when met at Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, South Jakarta, Sunday (5/11/2023).
"After getting married, Mas Anang always makes it for me, Aurel, I have never had a birthday party that suits my wishes," said Anang Hermansyah's wife.
From the concept to the venue, Ashanty did not involve her family. The woman born on November 4, 1984, really wants to do everything herself.
"This idea has been since January, I called the hotel. I contacted the artists who will perform at my event since June. If I see the current situation, it's not pleasant either. But what can we do, we have prepared for it," said Ashanty.
Ashanty chose the fairy concept because it takes the philosophy of butterfly metamorphosis that undergoes a process over time. Ashanty feels that it is similar to the life she is living.
"I feel like a butterfly from a cocoon, so I'm a butterfly. I have a happy family, I have grandchildren, it seems like I'm a butterfly flying high," he said.
Ashanty is grateful, her desire to hold a birthday party using her own money can finally be realized at her current age. Moreover, Ashanty's team helped prepare her dream birthday.
"Alhamdulillah, I've been dealing with this for months. But for the details, luckily I have a team. They are amazing. Without them, I don't know," Ashanty concluded.
