Joshua Suherman and Clairine Clay shared their happiness in front of the public. On March 10th, Clay felt the baby's kick in her stomach for the first time.
"Yeah, it was when I was about to sleep, then I wanted to touch my stomach. I wondered if my stomach was twitching or something. But it turned out to be continuous," said Joshua Suherman in Tendean, South Jakarta, Monday (18/3/2024).
"It's a happy moment, the first communication from the baby. According to the doctor, this week the kicking should start," added Joshua Suherman.
Joshua and Clay still have many questions and are seeking information about the steps to be taken during this pregnancy. Considering that this is their first experience as parents who will have a child.
"The first child is still confusing for both of us. We're still figuring out what to do, everything is still new, but it's exciting," said Joshua.
Joshua said that he has been relying on doctors to ask anything about his wife's pregnancy. He feels that he gets accurate answers when he asks directly to the experts.
"To the doctor, yes, to the doctor. Because there is already an obstetrician, so we contact through Whatsapp. If we want to ask anything more valid, we ask directly to the doctor," explained Joshua.
Clay emphasized that he and Joshua are trying to take good care of their first child's health. Every month, Clay routinely undergoes pregnancy check-ups with the doctor. "Actually, the check-up already has a schedule once a month. There's always a date," concluded Clay.
