Bella, who played Siti Raham, Hamka's wife, hopes that everyone who watches can take away the positive messages presented.

Especially the younger generation, who can emulate the figure of Hamka who tirelessly sought knowledge, defended religion, and the homeland.

"In my opinion, this is a great lesson because as the younger generation, we need role models, we need examples, and through this film we can take the knowledge and apply it to our daily lives," she said.

Ma'mun Murod Al Barbasy, the Rector of Muhammadiyah University Jakarta, expressed similar sentiments after watching the film BUYA HAMKA.

"So many lessons can be learned from the film Buya Hamka. This is only volume 1, there are still volumes 2 and 3 which will have more stories that are worthy of being taken as examples and role models for all of us. The Indonesian nation, the Muslim community, I think it is necessary to watch the film Buya Hamka," he said.

"I think it is important for all Indonesian society to watch this film because it has religious value, struggle, independence value, educational value, and artistic value because Buya Hamka is also a writer and literary figure," said Amany Lubis, Chairperson of the Indonesian Ulama Council for Women and Youth.

"I think this movie is suitable for anyone, not just Muslims. Because what Buya conveyed is universal thinking. Because, he is also a nationalist. I think Buya's thoughts and spirit are worthy of being emulated," said Izul Muslim, Secretary General of Muhammadiyah.

The movie BUYA HAMKA will be screened in all cinemas in Indonesia on April 19, 2023.
