After officially divorcing Andika Rosadi, Nisya Ahmad has now chosen not to rush into thinking about finding a partner. The sister of Raffi Ahmad admits that she is currently prioritizing her work in the political world.
Nisya is now serving as a Council Member. This new role takes up a lot of her time and attention. She says that at this moment, she does not want to seriously look for a life partner.
"Focusing on work first, the mandate as a Council Member is enough, not forcing it," she said when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, some time ago.
Even so, Nisya does not completely close herself off. She admits that she is still open to the possibility of starting a new relationship if the time is right. However, with her current busyness, finding a partner is not a priority.
"No, if I were to close myself off, right now my focus is on the new work situation. Then I have to share my time with the kids, so it’s quite draining mentally, physically, and time-wise, so it seems like if I were to intentionally seek someone, it wouldn’t happen for a while," she added.
Nisya's relaxed attitude towards her love life is fully supported by her mother, Amy Qanita or Mamah Amy. She gives her daughter the freedom to determine her own path after the divorce.
"Yes, support if it's about a life partner, just go with it, later, insya Allah, if there is something better for Nisya. Whatever it is, support the positive things, the best for Nisya," said Mamah Amy.
According to Mamah Amy, there is no pressure from the family regarding matchmaking. She believes that everything will come at the right time, especially since matchmaking is God's business. "Just go with it calmly," she briefly stated.
For Nisya, having a new partner is not something she rejects, but she emphasizes that it is not the right time yet. She also mentioned that everyone certainly has criteria for their ideal partner, but not everything can be planned.
"Sure. There must be, right? We want to have criteria like this, want it like that, how it should be, everyone definitely has their own preferences. But in the end, it's all about destiny, blessings, and that's all arranged by Allah," said Nisya.
