The concert Ruth Sahanaya titled Symphony From the Heart was successfully held on Saturday (22/6) at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Central Jakarta. The concert, which also marked Ruth Sahanaya's 40 years of work, was designed to be grand with a well-designed stage and lighting. Here are the details.
Uthe performed a total of 33 songs with various arrangements, including hits such as 'Andaikan Kau Datang', 'Bawa Daku Pergi', 'Selamanya', 'September Pagi', and 'Masa Kecil'.
Starting at 19:45, the concert opened with the song 'Pesta' released in 1986, featuring upbeat music.
With a performance duration of almost 3 hours and 10 minutes, Uthe showcased her class as an Indonesian diva with stable vocals from start to finish.
The magnificent stage setup and extraordinary song arrangements by Tohpati Orchestra left a deep impression on the audience. The giant LED screen on stage enhanced the concert by displaying photos of Uthe with her family and other beautiful ornaments.
"Thank you for your presence and appreciation today. Accept the offering from Renjana Productions with music director Tohpati, Symphony of the Heart 40th Anniversary Concert," said Uthe from his magnificent stage.
The enthusiasm of the audience to watch Ruth Sahanaya's concert was extraordinary. Three days before the concert, tickets were already sold out in all classes. Audience members from various age segments bought tickets, proving Uthe's fans' loyalty. Almost 3600 tickets were sold.
"Perhaps they have memories, recollections, so they come and want to witness Mama Uthe's 40th Anniversary Concert at JCC. We are very grateful for their loyalty and support," said Jeffry Waworuntu.
This is Uthe's first solo concert after fifteen years, since celebrating 25 years of work.
