Atta Halilintar's Mother Goes Viral for Mentioning Thariq Already Having the Title of Hajj since Childhood, Atta Halilintar Provides an Explanation

During her son's engagement ceremony with Aaliyah Massaid, Geni Faruk mentioned that Thariq had received the title of Hajj since the age of two months.

In response to this, Atta Halilintar provided an explanation about his mother's statement. He considered the statement as a form of his mother's joy and pride.

"Oh, maybe my mother was joking. Well, it's okay, it's just a mother thing, maybe she wanted to explain the story first, that's why she's happy," said Atta Halilintar when met in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, Monday (24/6/2024).

1. Extraordinary Struggle of a Mother

The husband of Aurel Hermansyah explained that at that time, before the hajj facilities became as they are now, the struggle to perform the hajj pilgrimage was very difficult and full of challenges. Atta recounted that his mother faced many difficulties in performing the hajj pilgrimage in the past.

"Because back then, my mother didn't have good packages like now. Her struggle was extraordinary. Back then, there were no visas like now," Atta said.

2. Not as Easy as Now

Atta also mentioned that the process of departing for the Holy Land at that time was very complicated and not as easy as now.

"Maybe because she was happy to bring a baby, Thariq was born in the 90s, and after that, my mother's struggle for hajj was not only in terms of material. But also in terms of money, energy, back then hajj was not like now," Atta concluded.

As it is known, this incident began when the host mentioned Atta Halilintar's name without including the title of hajj. Atta's father, Halilintar Anofial Asmid, immediately corrected the host and emphasized that his son's name should be accompanied by the title of hajj.

Not stopping there, Geni Faruk added that Thariq, his son who was getting engaged that day, had also received the title of hajj.
