Ariel's frustration occurred during the shooting of a scene that had to be repeated 22 times.
"I have taken 22 times, from night until dawn, because of him (Raditya Dika). We did a night shot and he kept making mistakes, even though it was a walking scene," said Ariel Tatum.
"In that scene, I just had to walk and say something, but the dialogue kept going wrong, 22 takes," added Raditya Dika.
Ariel Tatum said that at that time, she really had to hold back her anger and calm herself down. How could she not? 22 takes from night until dawn really drained her energy.
"I can't get angry on set, I have to calm myself down. After finishing the take, I slammed the door," said Ariel Tatum.
"The next day I told Radit 'I was really annoyed last night'. We didn't know what time it started, but we did 22 takes," he continued.
In addition, Raditya Dika explained the reason why the scene had to be repeated multiple times. He also mentioned that when reading the novel and the film script, various funny moments had already been imagined by him.
"It's not that I'm stupid, I was just sleepy and couldn't focus. But the book (novel) is really funny, so when reading the script, I already imagined how funny it would be," Raditya Dika concluded.
