Musician Virgoun has officially been appointed as a suspect in a case of alleged drug use of crystal meth. Virgoun was arrested on June 19, 2024, in a boarding house in South Jakarta area. Apparently, this is the reason why Virgoun consumed drugs, check out the complete portraits!
The South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Pol M Syahduddi, explains the motive behind Virgoun's drug use. According to him, Virgoun used crystal meth with the goal of losing weight.
"The person in question (Virgoun) consumed drugs with the aim of losing weight," said Syahduddi in a press conference at West Jakarta Police, Tuesday (25/6/2024).
Not only Virgoun, in the arrest, a woman with the initials PA was also detained. PA was known to consume drugs of the type methamphetamine to maintain stamina while working.
"Then regarding sister PA, she consumed drugs to maintain stamina while working, as she confessed," he said.
In addition, another suspect, who is a crew member of Virgoun's band with the initials BA or BGS, consumed synthetic tobacco drugs to help sleep.
"Against suspect BA, he consumed synthetic tobacco narcotics to help him sleep comfortably," he said.
As known, Virgoun was apprehended by the West Jakarta Metro Police narcotics detective team on Thursday, June 20, 2024, around 01:00 AM local time in his rented room in South Jakarta.
In the arrest, the police successfully seized crystal meth and its smoking apparatus. Currently, Virgoun has been designated as a suspect along with two other individuals, a woman with the initials PA and a man known as Virgoun's band crew with the initials B or BGS.
