Since 2019, Vidi Aldiano has been suffering from cancer. The cancer has spread to several parts of his body. He has to undergo a series of healing procedures.
After years of undergoing those procedures, Vidi reached the radiation therapy session. According to him, he had to undergo radiation therapy 10 times. Recently, the session is over.
"After going through 10 sessions of radiation therapy, today it is declared finished for this treatment! Huge shoutout to all the adorable doctors and nurses who always encourage me every day," he wrote on Instagram.
"The results will only be available in 1 to 2 months. But hey, one can only hope, hopefully whatever efforts are made can yield good results," he continued.
Furthermore, Vidi mentioned that the last 3 months have been the toughest. He not only has to undergo radiation regularly but also work, from being a judge to hosting a podcast.
Last September, Vidi revealed that he had to undergo treatment every 3 weeks. Interestingly, Vidi continues to be enthusiastic and cheerful in facing each day despite the cancer spreading in his body.
"As long as I am given the strength to fight this disease, I cannot be weak. I must continue to live my life, and hopefully continue to create to bring smiles to all of you," he wrote last September.
This year, in 2023, Vidi has decided to make a comeback and appear with a Korean Oppa image. He is also expanding his wings not only as a singer but also as a podcast host with Deddy Corbuzier.
