Ira Wibowo is not only talented in acting in front of the camera but also in dancing. She has participated in numerous performances and impressed the audience.
This time, she performed in Paris. Ira looked beautiful in traditional attire complete with a headpiece. Holding a bow and arrow, she resembles the figure of Srikandi.
Of course, Ira is not alone. She is one of 16 dancers from Indonesia. They are so close-knit and willing to take photos in their costumes in the cold weather.
What's interesting is that their hard work has finally paid off. Yes, Ira and her friends managed to become the 2nd place winners in the Etoiles de Paris, the 27th International Competition & Festival of Folklore, Dance and Music.
"The piece we performed is called Kayungyun dance, which is choreographed by our teacher @martini_brenda. The dance is performed by 16 dancers from Arkamaya Sukma," wrote Instagram Arkamaya.
During her time in Europe, Ira visited her mother's house in Germany. As you may know, Ira has just lost her biological father. He passed away at the age of 94.
Before performing in Paris, Ira had already impressed on stage in September 2023. At that time, her impressive performance was witnessed by her father who motivated her to learn Javanese dance.
During that time, Ira looked beautiful with a string of jasmine. She also participated in a performance titled Ketoprak Tari Retno Dumilah held at Taman Ismail Marzuki Theater.
