The organization of the ngunduh mantu event for Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise on Thursday (19/6/2025) is confirmed to be one of the grandest wedding parties ever held among Indonesian celebrities. Taking place at JCC, Senayan, Central Jakarta, this event is designed with a Javanese Royal Wedding theme and is fully prepared by Ahmad Dhani.

Ahmad Dhani, who came directly to the location a day before the event to oversee the preparations, stated that all the luxurious details arranged did not involve any sponsorship or endorsement from anyone. "There are none," Ahmad Dhani firmly said when asked if there were any sponsors for the ngunduh mantu event.

The decision not to partner with sponsors is not without reason. Ahmad Dhani wants the entire event to proceed according to his family's vision and expectations, without the interference of outside interests.

"No, even if there were, it would probably just be covered by SCTV... and all the profits would go to Al and Alyssa," Dhani said.

He also ensured that all expenses are covered from his personal funds. He even mentioned a figure indirectly as a sign of seriousness in preparing for his eldest son's wedding. "Yeah, one Rolls Royce car," he said casually.

Ahmad Dhani also explained that this decision is not because there are no collaboration offers. However, he and his family prefer to run the event with full independence and originality. "If everyone wants it this way, alhamdulillah, but if not, it's his father's money," he added.

The concept of the Javanese Royal Wedding being presented is said to be Al Ghazali's desire to preserve Indonesian culture. Although Al is part of Generation Z, Dhani mentioned that his son is indeed interested in a strong cultural theme. "Yes, the concept is about preservation," he explained.

Interestingly, Dhani also mentioned that his other two children, El Rumi and Dul Jaelani, are unlikely to choose a similar wedding concept. The reason is that they want a simpler and less complicated wedding.

"If El doesn’t want it, he says it’s too complicated. Dul just wants it to be at the mosque," Dhani revealed.

With all these decisions, Ahmad Dhani emphasizes that Al Ghazali's ngunduh mantu event is not just a wedding party, but also a form of cultural celebration and a father's responsibility towards his eldest child. "The crown prince is like that," he asserted.
