When met by the KapanLagi.com team at the 1st anniversary event of Hades VIP in Cibubur, Ari Lasso shared about his divorce and his good relationship with Vita Dessy.

When deciding to divorce, Ari Lasso and Vita Dessy had considered it for quite a long time, and they also discussed it well with the children.

Although they have been married for 25 years, Ari Lasso's children responded to this matter wisely. "Kids nowadays are different, you know, they ask my manager, today's kids are different. When it's discussed, as long as you are happy, that's what matters," said Ari Lasso.

Having fought together, but ending in separation, Ari Lasso calls it destiny. "Maybe later there will be something better, maybe there is a lesson to be learned. Let's just try to stay positive," he concluded.

Ari and his ex-wife still communicate. Their youngest child lives with Vita Dessy. "The youngest is with her. On weekends or holidays, they are at home. School is close to the mother," said the 51-year-old singer.

When asked whether the issue between Ari and Vita Dessy has been happening since 2018, during the solo concert. This is because Vita Dessy was not seen coming down from the stage.

"She did come, but indeed did not come down to the stage. Maybe that's the concept of the event. The point is this issue has been around for a while, then we decided that way. It’s not possible to suddenly say today let's make a decision. It was a mutual decision, amicably," replied Ari Lasso.

Regarding starting a new chapter, Ari Lasso hasn't thought about it yet. For him, starting something is not an easy thing. This father of four appears relaxed, so Ari has become a 'cool widower' now.
