She wrote, "One of the most touching moments was when an audience member approached me after the screening of Kotak. He shared a long essay about how my short film made him feel emotionally connected. I was very moved to hear his story, as it made me realize that art can have such deep meaning for others."

Dian Sastro continued, "The three short films, Nougat, Dini Hari, and Kotak, without me realizing it, seem to depict my relationship with my inner child, the innocent, vulnerable side, and full of curiosity. In every story, there are traces of childhood, whether it's hope, longing, or a search for simple meaning."
