The divorce between Inara Rusli and Virgoun has not yet ended. Virgoun secretly diverted the royalties of his songs to the music label.
"As his legal wife at that time, I was sad and disappointed. As a wife, I am also a partner in the household. We are also burdened with the task of managing finances," said Inara Rusli in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (19/12/2023).
"So it's very unfortunate if we don't know properly and openly, where our income comes from," she added.
Until now, Inara admits that she has never been invited to discuss these decisions, including the transfer of Virgoun's song royalties to the music label. For more information, Inara suggests contacting her lawyer.
"If it's about more detailed matters, you can ask my lawyer. So far, I haven't been involved in any of their decision-making processes," she said.
In response to this royalty transfer, Inara has filed a civil lawsuit against Virgoun at the Central Jakarta District Court.
This mother of three children confirms that the trial will be held on January 3, 2024.
"Insha Allah on the 3rd the trial. Want to mediate first, want to be brought together first. Hopefully, from this mediation, we can communicate peacefully again, so it doesn't drag on," concluded Inara Rusli.
