Presenter Jessica Iskandar tells about her third pregnancy that is different from the previous ones. In this pregnancy, the woman who is familiarly called Jedar cannot eat food.
"In my previous pregnancies, I also experienced nausea, but this time it feels more fantastic, bombastic. Almost every day, I have no appetite, feel nauseous, and vomit," she said when met in Menteng, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/5/2024).
Because no food can enter her body, Jedar finally had to have bed rest and spend her time in bed. That's why she mentioned that this pregnancy is very different from her previous two pregnancies.Â
"Yesterday I had to bed rest, rest in bed, because I felt really weak, you know, because I didn't have any appetite. The difference is, this time it's more sensitive," she said.
In that condition, Vincent Verhaag is said to always be by Jedar's side. She mentioned that her husband is a patient person.
"This is my patient husband who faces it, supports as well, so until today we haven't overcome the difficulties," Jedar explained.
After consulting with a doctor, Jedar finally found a way to prevent the food from coming out of her body. The way is, the 36-year-old woman has to consume food little by little.
"After consultation, it is better to eat a little but frequently. And look for food that is not too oily, food that is extra-extra needed for nutrition, because so far, the embryo or the baby is healthy," explained Vincent Verhaag.
Vincent Verhaag is grateful, the fetus from the result of IVF in Jedar's womb is in a healthy condition. Especially after seeing that the baby is starting to develop and his wife, Jedar, has also gone through difficult times.
"As parents, the feeling is definitely happy and grateful because the process we went through has yielded results and the result is a normal heartbeat. So Vincent also shed tears," concluded Vincent Verhaag.
