When Sandra Dewi celebrated her 40th birthday, Harvey Moeis gave her a gift of a new Rolls-Royce car. The estimated price of the car is between Rp18-Rp25 billion.
However, it has now been revealed that the gift was not purchased in Sandra's name, but in the name of a company. The car is now seized by the Attorney General's Office as evidence in a corruption case involving Harvey.
Sandra Dewi celebrated her 40th birthday in August 2023. On that occasion, she arrived at the birthday location in a luxurious hotel riding a Rolls-Royce that had been owned by Harvey for a long time.
Apparently, that day Harvey gave Sandra a new car as a gift. The brand is Rolls-Royce, but with a different type from their old car.
The gift given by Harvey is a 2013 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase. The estimated price is between Rp18-Rp25 billion.
When Harvey was arrested for corruption, some facts about this car were revealed. One of them is the owner's name of this luxury car.
Apparently, although given to Sandra as a gift, the car is still under the company's name. Until now, Harvey has not transferred the ownership to his wife's name.
Other facts were revealed, namely that Harvey has not paid the taxes for this car. The tax should have been paid in March, but it has been overdue for 27 days.
The tax for the car amounts to Rp99.9 million. Because they were late in paying, the total amount to be paid is Rp101 million.
Now Sandra's luxury car gift has been seized by the Attorney General's Office, after they searched the artist's house. In addition to taking Sandra's Rolls Royce gift, the Attorney General's Office also took a Mini Cooper car from Harvey's garage.
