Marcella Zalianty was blessed with two children from her marriage with Ananda Mikola in 2010. They are Kana Mahatma Soeprapto and Aryton Maggaly Sastra Soeprapto. It's hard to believe that the youngest, Maggaly, has turned 9 years old. Apparently, Maggaly's birthday celebration was done in a different way. What does it look like?
Marcella Zalianty admits that Maggaly actually doesn't like birthday celebrations and being sung the 'happy birthday' song. Maggaly only asked for her birthday to be able to gather with orphan friends.
"Abang Maggaly who actually doesn't like to celebrate his birthday and doesn't like to be sung happy birthday, he only wants to gather with his friends on his birthday who no longer have their parents," wrote Marcella Zalianty.
Aryton Maggaly Sastra Soeprapto was diagnosed with a brain tumor since he was a child. Maggaly had to undergo treatment for several years in Singapore.
With patience and continuous effort, Marcella's struggle finally paid off. After approximately 3 years of treatment, Magali slowly began to recover from the brain tumor that had been plaguing him.
Now, at the age of 9, Maggaly has fully recovered and has grown into a cheerful and adorable child.
The birthday celebration was held in a mosque and led by an ustadz. Mahatma, the eldest son, also participated in the prayer recitation.
As an artist and top athlete's child, Maggaly chose to do a simple activity with orphans instead of holding a lavish party.
At the end of the event, Marcella Zalianty's family distributed donations to the attending orphans.
