When first contacted by Daniel, Mutia did not immediately agree to the good intentions of the famous presenter. She needed a week to think and talk with her family.
"This discussion started from my podcast with Daniel. Then he had my number, and he called me saying he had a mission to make a film about Glenn. Of course, I didn't immediately agree. I prayed first to see how this film would turn out," said Mutia, interviewed in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (20/9/2023).
For a week, Mutia Ayu struggled with her own thoughts. Whether Glenn agreed to have this film made or not. Whether her husband would mind having his personal story shown or not. Â
"Every night, I wonder if Glenn would want a film made about him. Would he be happy? The media friends know that Glenn is not very open about his personal life, about his life," said Mutia.
Mutia Ayu's uncertainty finally received an answer from Glenn Fredly. Mutia admitted that her late husband came to her in a dream and gave a sign.
"Finally, Glenn came to my dream. He, wow, kept smiling and said 'Continue, Bebe'. That's it, 'Continue, Bebe'. Those words. It's a sign," Mutia said hesitantly.
In addition to receiving that dream, Mutia Ayu also felt relieved. So she immediately contacted Daniel Mananta to provide an answer.
"I always ask God that if this film becomes a blessing for others, please give my heart a 'yes'. And I feel good because it will definitely discuss Glenn's past. And nothing makes me uncomfortable. That means it's a sign from God," said the mother of Gewa Latuihamallo.Â
