8 Portraits of Oki Setiana Dewi Together with Beloved Mother, Touched by Mother Becoming a Memorizer of the Qur'an at the Age of 58

As a form of gratitude, Oki Setiana Dewi, as the founder of Maskanul Huffadz Islamic Boarding School, held a graduation ceremony for her mother and other students. She also presented a certificate to her mother who has memorized 10 juz of the Qur'an.

“Masya Allah, I am very happy because we held a tahfidz graduation ceremony from our Quran boarding school, Maskanul Huffadz. This is different from previous graduations. This is the 11th graduation, and what's different is that it motivates me and my mother's sibling to diligently memorize the Quran together with my mother,” said Oki Setiana Dewi when met in the South Tangerang area recently. 

Of course, the achievement of her mother makes Oki Setiana Dewi more motivated. She also explained that this boarding school was initially established because of her mother's love for the Quran and her desire for all her children to be close to the Quran.

“This motivates me because among us, the most extraordinary in memorizing the Quran is my mother. So if we go back, this boarding school was originally a Quran house. That was also because of my mother's love for the Quran. She wanted her children to be close to the Quran,” she expressed. 

"So at that time, I was helped by friends in building the House of Qur'an. Not only students who memorize the Qur'an, but also mothers. Thank you to the mothers and other donors for giving the gift of Umrah. Earlier, my mother gave two Umrah gifts to her teacher and one outstanding student," she continued.

Oki Setiana Dewi said that her mother started memorizing the Qur'an since 2016. "My mother started memorizing the Qur'an since the establishment of the Qur'an House in 2016. She learns to read the Qur'an for six to seven hours every day," said Oki Setiana Dewi.

Meanwhile, Yunifah Lisnawati feels grateful because her struggle to give a crown to her parents has finally been achieved.

"Alhamdulillah, it's a struggle. After Fajr prayer, I studied for three more hours after finishing prayer. I called my teacher, learning through zoom. Because my mother wants to give a crown to my grandmother," said Yunifah Lisnawati.
