8 Photos of Ovi Dian Revealing Her Daughter's Kidney Failure, Initially Rejected by a Singaporean Pediatrician

Ovi Dian gave birth to her first daughter named Kiara Zahira Rahman on December 19, 2022. Who would have thought that her daughter would experience kidney failure at less than one year old. 

Initially nosebleeds, vomiting blood, until finally lab tests, and the results turned out to be not good. The doctor finally asked Ovi to see a pediatrician and kidney specialist, because her daughter's kidney condition is unusual. 

Kiara experienced edema, where some parts of her body were swollen due to fluid accumulation in her body. Ovi was initially in disbelief. 

Ovi also wanted to take her daughter to Singapore for treatment. She contacted three pediatric specialists at once. Unfortunately, she faced rejection. 

From day to day, Kiara's condition started to worsen, and her body began to swell. Kiara was then transferred to a larger hospital. She was introduced to a great doctor who is still treating her until now.

While at the hospital, Ovi received news that Kiara had stopped breathing and her condition was worsening. When she arrived at the hospital, Kiara was already intubated.

When her child was already intubated, Ovi surrendered everything to God, she had accepted it. And after 11 days, Kiara's condition improved and she was discharged from the ICU.

From the incident that happened to her daughter, Ovi learned many life lessons. She learned that being rich is not about money, but about kindness. Now, Kiara is able to leave the ICU and slowly, her condition is getting better.
