Not only about hiding the news of their marriage, Asmirandah and Jonas Rivanno were also reported by the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) with accusations of blasphemy. FPI considered Jonas Rivanno to have committed blasphemy because he converted to Islam only to marry Asmirandah.
However, the accusations were eventually not proven. Jonas Rivanno's legal representative at that time stated that his client's marriage was fine and legally conducted abroad and had been registered in the civil records of DKI Jakarta.

Asmirandah got pregnant with their first child after seven years of marriage. On an Instagram post from June 15, 2020, Jonas Rivanno shared a photo of his wife's pregnancy. In the post, he included Psalm 139:13-14 (TB) to express gratitude to God.
