At the age of 84 and in declining health, legendary singer Jaja Miharja continues to show extraordinary spirit. Even though he now has to use a cane and undergo treatment in the hospital, he still accepts singing offers. His dedication to the entertainment world is indeed beyond doubt.
This was conveyed by Jaja Miharja's daughter, Vita, when met at St. Carolus Hospital, Salemba, Central Jakarta on Saturday (31/5/2025). According to Vita, her father still often receives singing offers, especially from wedding events or talk show invitations.
"Actually, my father has many singing job offers, but we say that he now uses a cane, so if he stands for a long time, he might not be able to, but for talk shows, he can still do those, and for wedding shows where he can sit, he can still manage," said Vita.
Although not as vigorous as before, Jaja still wants to perform. His strong desire to continue creating and interacting with the audience serves as a motivation for him to take on jobs that are still physically possible.
"My father is very active, he just finished making a new album titled 'Koruptor.' He wrote it himself, he recorded it, and made the video clip together with Bang Oji," said Vita.
