This time, Ashanty provides assistance to the people in the Karet Tengsin area of Central Jakarta whose houses were burned some time ago. At least, through this assistance, it can lighten the burden of people who have lost their homes due to the fire.

"Hopefully it can alleviate their burden. Because there are 150 people inside, including babies and young children. It's really pitiful to see. Hopefully they will quickly receive assistance from the government," said Ashanty in Karet Tengsin area, Central Jakarta, Friday (6/8/2021).

The assistance given by Ashanty was not through others. Instead, she went directly to the location of the fire. Not only that, the mother of Arsy Hermansyah also saw firsthand the burnt houses.

"So imagine, one of the houses that burned is not completely destroyed, there are others that are more destroyed due to the fire. They are currently dealing with their own house so that it can be replaced and rebuilt," she said.

Engaging in social activities is not the first time done by Ashanty. However, this has been routinely carried out since a few years ago. This action is not only carried out in Jakarta but also in other regions.

"We have had The Hermansyah Foundation for almost 5 years. In the past, we could travel outside the city without a pandemic. However, we still organize these activities without donors and not with anyone's money, so it is still limited," said Ashanty.

"Hopefully in the future, we can do something bigger. We believe that during this pandemic, many people are doing the same as us," she added.

Interestingly, these social activities are not only carried out by Ashanty alone. But, her husband, Anang Hermansyah, also participates. Moreover, sometimes Ashanty's stepson, Azriel, also likes to directly visit the location to provide assistance to others.

"I usually take turns doing activities like this. Sometimes he goes down, sometimes me, Azriel. Well, I'm the one who can be the way. But in this pandemic, I have limitations. If we all go down, we're afraid of creating crowds, so we have to hurry because it's not good," said Ashanty.
