A New Chapter in the Allegation of Threats Against Erika Carlina, DJ Panda to be Interrogated by Police This Week

Kapanlagi.com - The case of alleged threats reported by artist and social media influencer Erika Carlina against DJ Giovanni Surya Saputra, better known as DJ Panda, continues to unfold. The police have upgraded the status of this case from investigation to inquiry and will soon conduct an interrogation of DJ Panda.

Investigators from the Subdirectorate for Youth, Children, and Women (Renakta) of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police have scheduled a summons for DJ Panda. This interrogation is a follow-up to the report made by Erika Carlina some time ago.

1. DJ Panda Will Soon Be Examined

According to the Head of the Child Protection Sub-Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police Criminal Investigation Directorate, AKBP Iskandarsyah, the examination of DJ Panda will be conducted in the near future. If on schedule, DJ Panda will be examined on October 15.

"On the 15th (of October, the examination of DJ Panda)," said the Head of the Child Protection Sub-Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police Criminal Investigation Directorate AKBP Iskandarsyah when contacted by reporters on Monday (13/10/2025).

3. DJ Panda's Status Still a Witness

Iskandarsyah also emphasized that the increase in the status of the case to an investigation was done after a case review process. In the upcoming examination, DJ Panda will still be examined in his capacity as a reported witness.

"Yes, (DJ Panda is still) a witness," he said.

4. The Case of Erika vs DJ Panda

This case began when Erika Carlina officially reported DJ Panda to the Metro Jaya Police on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The report was registered with the number LP/B/5027/VII/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA. Erika reported DJ Panda for two alleged criminal acts, namely threats and the dissemination of personal data without permission.

5. Threats in the Fanbase Group

The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi, previously provided information regarding how Erika became aware of the threats. According to him, the threats were sent by DJ Panda through a chat group on the WhatsApp application that is the fanbase's platform.

"(In the fanbase group) the reported person sent a message via WhatsApp threatening to destroy the victim's career," said Ade Ary in his statement on Friday (25/7/2025).

In the report, Erika Carlina also included several pieces of evidence, including screenshots of conversations in the WhatsApp group containing the threatening messages. The case will soon be investigated, but DJ Panda and Erika have not yet responded.
