Netflix has finally announced the latest news for the ONE PIECE live-action season two series. This series, adapted from the legendary work of Eiichiro Oda, will once again bring Luffy and the Straw Hat crew into a new chapter. Along with this announcement, Netflix also released teaser photos that showcase glimpses of the atmosphere in Drum Island.

This second season promises to present a larger and more challenging scale of the story. New locations and iconic characters are the main attractions of this season. Fans' enthusiasm is also rising as the global release approaches on March 10, 2026.

Netflix has finally released the first teaser photo from the ONE PIECE live-action second season. At a glance, we see a scene with Luffy and his friends on Drum Island, a kingdom known for its great doctors and the eternal snow that always blankets it. Joe Tracz, the executive producer, admitted that the production team had to think creatively to create that cold atmosphere.

According to Tracz, Drum Kingdom can be considered the Winterfell of GAME OF THRONES. Interestingly, the snow seen in the teaser photo is actually artificial snow! However, it successfully makes us believe that Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro are feeling cold. In reality, they were shooting during the summer in Cape Town, South Africa.

The production team really got creative to make the cold atmosphere of Drum Island feel real. In the second season, the adventure will become even more exciting with the appearance of giants and dinosaurs. It is even rumored that the Straw Hat crew will get trapped inside the belly of a giant whale!
