Accompanying His Wife's Labor, Kevin Aprilio Cries with Emotion as Vicy Melanie Gives Birth to Their First Child

"On the 5th of October, our daughter was born, a girl indeed, named Kimova Dasha Aprilio," Kevin said in the Grogol Petamburan area, West Jakarta, on Saturday (12/10/2024).

"Born at 8:26 on October 5, 2024, thank God she is healthy, now still the same, Vicy is breastfeeding at home, but she sends her regards. Her weight at birth was 3.2 kilos and her height was 52 cm," he added.

This birth process took place via cesarean section. Kevin explained that after six hours post-surgery, Vicy was already able to walk again.   "The process was a cesarean yesterday, but I’m not sure what type, but it was cesarean, within six hours she was already able to walk like that," he said.

The moment of his daughter's birth was very touching for Kevin. He could not hide his tears while witnessing the delivery process firsthand.

"I am very happy, when I see the reels post, I was accompanying the delivery process, my eyes were filled with tears, it was moving to really see a woman giving birth, her sacrifice is extraordinary," he said.

Kevin admitted that seeing Vicky's sacrifice during childbirth made him admire and love his wife even more.   "I saw Vicy, she was only half anesthetized, yet she was still smiling, I became even more in love with my wife, that woman’s sacrifice is incredible," he said.

Regarding the decision to undergo a cesarean section, Kevin mentioned that it was Vicy's wish. He also understands that each method of delivery has its own advantages and disadvantages.

"It seems like it was Vicy's preference, and that's okay, every method has its pros and cons, whether it's a cesarean or natural, but we prefer the cesarean," he concluded.
