Accusations of Exploitation Against Gala Sky Proven False, Doddy Sudrajat and Haji Faisal Advised to Meet

Kapanlagi.com - The National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA) finally visited the residence of the child of the late Vanessa Angel and Bibi Andriansyah, Gala Sky. From the visit, Arist Merdeka Sirait as the chairman of Komnas PA confirmed that all allegations of exploitation against Gala are untrue.

When met after the visit to Gala Sky's residence in Srengseng, West Jakarta, on Thursday (6/1) afternoon, Arist stated that both Doddy and Faisal can apply for guardianship. This is to ensure that both parties can continue to have access to care for Gala Sky Andriansyah.

"There is no reason not to love their grandchild, but for growing and developing, it is possible for Mr. Faisal to apply for guardianship, not custody, it's different," said Arist Merdeka Sirait.

"If it's guardianship, it certainly does not close access for Mr. Faisal and Mr. Doddy as the stepfather. Of course, the closest environment, Mr. Faisal and Mr. Doddy, have the responsibility to raise [Gala]," he continued.

1. Requested to Consult

In addition, to prevent negative stories about the feud between Haji Faisal and Doddy Sudrajat from spreading further, Arist suggested that they both sit down together for consultation. Furthermore, Arist mentioned that Haji Faisal's family is very open to this.

"To prevent this issue from becoming wild, someone always says a, b, c, we suggest sitting down together to discuss it exclusively. After this, there will be considerations and conditions, as I have mentioned to Mr. Faisal, that we are open to sitting down together," he said.

2. For the Sake of Gala's Well-being

According to Arist, consultation should be done for the sake of Gala Sky's well-being. If it continues, it will undoubtedly affect the growth and development of a child, which can be considered as a form of exploitation.

"To prevent this from becoming wild, it's a pity for Gala. Because if this is not resolved, it is called exploitation," he said.

3. Latest Condition of Gala

Arist also mentioned that during his visit, he saw that Gala was doing well and growing happily under the care of Aunt Andriansyah's family. This was evident from Gala's gestures during the visit, and Arist believed that what Doddy Sudrajat complained about never happened.

"Based on our experience, usually when a child is surrounded by many people, they behave in various ways. They cry or something. But not Gala. Instead, she interacted with us," said Arist Merdeka Sirait.

"I conclude that Gala is in good condition. Gala is joyful and not experiencing any violence. Everyone is greeted by Gala," he said.

4. Komnas PA's Recommendation

After directly checking Gala Sky's condition, Komnas PA concluded that Gala is in good condition under the care of Aunt Andriansyah's family. Therefore, Komnas PA finally recommended that Gala stay in her current environment.

"Let Gala grow and develop in a happy situation. Mr. Doddy, Mr. Faisal, and the family should support this," said Arist Merdeka Sirait.

5. Suspicion of Exploitation

Previously, Komnas PA fulfilled its promise to Doddy Sudrajat to directly see the condition of Gala Sky Andriansyah at the residence of Bibi Ardiansyah's family. Doddy Sudrajat came to Komnas PA on December 24, 2021.

It is also known that Doddy at that time expressed concerns about the parenting process of Gala which he believed was not right, and he even suspected that there was exploitation of his grandchild by Bibi Andriansyah's family.
