The figure of Kia Suban, or familiarly known as Kia AFI has recently become a topic of discussion among netizens. The melodious-voiced man is accused of being gay because he has uploaded several posts about 'white-skinned hands' which are allegedly from a man.
Kia AFI finally releases a clarification about the accusation. What are the facts?
Kia admits that it was just a friend and she wanted to post something on Valentine's Day. She confessed that she uploaded the photo of holding hands just for content.
Regarding the speculation about the man's hand, Kia herself did not reveal any further information about the gender of her 'special friend'.
"Sometimes we have to be smarter in playing social media. Many comments that I finally sorted out because they were inappropriate," said Kia AFI.
After the news went viral, Kia was immediately contacted by her friends for clarification.
Kia was shocked and saddened by the many negative comments after the photo of holding hands with a 'white-skinned hand' went viral.
Kia feels that he is no longer a public figure, therefore he is sad because he is being judged, especially being associated with the LGBT parade.
Regarding the uproar of participating in the LGBT parade, Kia AFI explained that he is proud to represent Indonesia in participating in that big event regardless of his sexual orientation.
Kia AFI also asks for prayers for his friendship with 'white-skinned hands' to last. He emphasizes that holding hands does not necessarily mean dating.
