Achieving a Doctorate Degree in the Science of the Qur'an and Tafsir, Ustaz Guntur Bumi is deeply touched and even moved to tears

Kapanlagi.com - Good news comes from the family of artist Puput Melati. Her husband, Ustaz Guntur Bumi or known as UGB has just achieved a Doctorate degree in the field of Quranic Science and Tafsir at the Institute of Higher Education of Quranic Science in Jakarta.

UGB's happiness was evident after the graduation ceremony at the Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (12/6/2021). He was so happy that he shed tears.

"Yes, because his struggle was quite extraordinary, not easy. Many friends are still struggling due to the ongoing pandemic. So, I was overwhelmed with emotions," said UGB at the Jakarta Convention Center on Saturday (12/6/2021).

1. Getting Support from Wife

UGB's interest in pursuing education up to PhD is supported by both of his parents. In addition, UGB is fully supported by his beloved wife. For UGB, the role of parents and wife is very important until he finally achieved his doctorate degree.

"Especially my parents. They always give me a message to keep learning until the end of my life, from the cradle to the grave. So keep learning until the end of your life," said UGB.

"My wife gives support. 'Keep learning, dear, because spreading the message can be done while learning. Alhamdulillah, I received a scholarship for my master's degree and also received a scholarship for my PhD," UGB continued.

2. Graduating Faster

To complete his PhD, UGB spent two years. According to him, he graduated faster than his peers.

"Alhamdulillah, I was given the fastest convenience in two years. I cannot forget the prayers of my wife every night. I can't even speak. Alhamdulillah, I graduated quickly compared to my friends," said UGB.
