Achieving Doctoral Degree, Ustaz Guntur Bumi Plans to Build Islamic Boarding School

Kapanlagi.com - Ustaz Guntur Bumi or known as UGB has just achieved a Doctoral degree in the field of Quran and Tafsir at the Institute of Quranic Sciences Jakarta. So, what did the husband of artist Puput Melati do after completing his S-3 education?

"Build an Islamic boarding school, InshaAllah," said UGB at the Jakarta Convention Center, Saturday (12/6/2021).

1. The Happy Wife

UGB's wife, Puput Melati, feels happy that her husband finally completed his S-3 education. Puput Melati knows very well how UGB was so enthusiastic about finishing his studies.

"Because his struggle was extraordinary. His dedication to studying was really strong. I myself am overwhelmed just finishing S2 and continuing to S3. I haven't even finished S1," she said.

2. Used as Motivation

Puput Melati said that her husband's enthusiasm in completing his S-3 education will be used as motivation. Currently, Puput Melati is still trying to complete her S-1 education in Early Childhood Islamic Education.

"That's why, mashallah, I really have to emulate his spirit. It turns out seeking knowledge is a blessing. Seeing him willing to learn from the Kiyai professors. Inshallah, it can be the most beneficial thing for the wife, children, family, and the ummah, inshallah. Yes, it's motivation. Because Abi's friends (UGB) also give encouragement like 'come on, don't lose'," she said.

"I have many young children. So I want to create an early childhood education based on the Quran and Sunnah. Inshallah," Puput Melati concluded.
