Adam Deni Feels Satisfied with Jerinx SID Going to Jail, Hopes It Can Have a Deterrent Effect

Kapanlagi.com - Drummer of the band Superman Is Dead (SID) I Gede Aryastina or better known as Jerinx SID is back in prison after being named a suspect in a case of alleged threats through electronic media.

Jerinx was detained for 20 days in Polda Metro Jaya prison starting Wednesday (1/12/2021). The husband of Nora Alexandra was officially detained after being reported by Adam Deni for alleged violent threats. As the reporter, Adam Deni feels satisfied that Jerinx is finally detained.

"In my opinion, if this case has reached the P21 level yesterday, especially the case that I reported, the current status as a suspect has been detained, I feel satisfied," Adam Deni said when contacted by reporters on Thursday (2/12/2021).

"Whether I'm satisfied or not, it's just normal. The important thing is that here I hold firm commitment from the beginning of the report until now I don't want to withdraw the report," added Adam Deni.

1. Just Recognition Only

Actually, before this case proceeded, Adam Deni and Jerinx were asked to mediate. However, the mediation only consisted of Jerinx apologizing to Adam Deni.

"Although there was an official mediation held by the investigators at the Jakarta Metro Police, in that mediation, it was only Jerinx admitting his mistake and directly apologizing to me," said Adam Deni.

"Yes, I accepted it, but I still told Jerinx and the investigators to continue this case to the court. I am happy because this means we are entering the final stage and Jerinx is finally detained by the prosecutor's office and held at the Jakarta Metro Police," he added.

2. Can Be Accepted Well

As the reporter, Adam Deni hopes that the case Jerinx is currently experiencing can be resolved peacefully. Moreover, Jerinx is already in custody at the Jakarta Metro Police.

"My hope is that this case can be resolved well and accepted by various parties, and Jerinx should also accept the consequences. But I also have a message for Jerinx in the future," he said.

"Hopefully, this can serve as a deterrent effect for Jerinx and he can change himself for the better, not just threatening people, not just belittling people, especially challenging the legal process like what Jerinx did to me," he concluded.

3. Detained for 20 Days

Jerinx SID was forced to return to prison after being named a suspect in a threat case. As it is known, Adam Deni reported the SID band drummer to the police for alleged threats.

After undergoing questioning at the Jakarta Metro Police, Jerinx then came out wearing a red vest and was accompanied by his wife, Nora Alexandra. Jerinx's lawyer, Sugeng Imam, said that Jerinx is currently detained for 20 days at the Jakarta Metro Police detention center until the trial date arrives.

"Jerinx will be detained for 20 days at the Jakarta Metro Police detention center," said Sugeng Imam Santoso at the Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday (1/12/2021).

4. 6 Years of Imprisonment

On the other hand, Bima Suprayoga, from the Central Jakarta District Attorney's Office, said that all of Jerinx's files from the Jakarta Metro Police investigators have been handed over to the District Attorney's Office.

Bima said that Jerinx violated Article 27 Paragraph 4 in conjunction with Article 45 Paragraph 4 or Article 29 in conjunction with the amendment of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning electronic information and transactions or the ITE Law. Due to this violation, Jerinx faces a prison sentence of 6 years.

"The prosecutor examines objective reasons, including the 6-year threat, so it is possible to detain him. It depends on the subjective and objective reasons," said Bima Suprayoga. 

5. Already Mediated

The dispute between Jerinx SID and Adam Deni continues. On August 14, 2021, Saturday afternoon, they were finally brought together at the Metro Jaya Regional Police. At 11:45 AM, Adam Deni appeared with his lawyer, Machi Ahmad. The lawyer explained the purpose of their visit.

"This is just the fulfillment of the mediation process that is already regulated based on the chief of police regulation number 2/11/2021. Regarding the implementation of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law, and this is mandatory," said Machi Ahmad.

Adam Deni stated that he will follow the rules for the mediation. Although he will go through the mediation process, Adam Deni emphasized that the possibility of reconciliation is very slim.
