Kapanlagi.com - The trial for the violation of privacy rights case with defendant Adam Deni Gearaka was held again at the North Jakarta District Court. The agenda for today's Monday (30/5/2022) hearing is to hear the demand from the Public Prosecutor (JPU).
Adam Deni arrived at the court in a green detainee car around two in the afternoon. He was immediately escorted into the temporary detention room while waiting for the hearing schedule.

Adam Deni appeared calmer as he stepped into the area of the North Jakarta District Court building. When asked about his readiness to hear the demand results, the 26-year-old man could only hope for the best.
"Just pray, hopefully for the best," said Adam while sitting in the detention room.

Meanwhile, Susiani, as the mother of Adam Deni Gearaka, appeared faithful to come every time her son's trial schedule was held. She hoped that the prosecutor's demand would lighten her son's sentence.
"(Hoping) for a light sentence, I want my son to be free. Just ask for prayers," said Susiani, who waited for her son outside the detention room.

Adam Deni Gearaka's case began with a story post on his Instagram account. The social media activist showed a document of the purchase of a bike belonging to the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission III, Ahmad Sahroni.
Because of this, Sahroni reported him to the police. Adam was charged with Article 48 Paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 32 Paragraph (3) of Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) as amended and supplemented by Law No. 19 of 2016 in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

Previously, Adam Deni also admitted that he had prepared several questions for Ahmad Sahroni during the trial later. He hopes not to be silenced during the trial.
"I hope that this injustice will be uncovered. Yes, hopefully the trial will run smoothly. Hopefully I won't be silenced again when I make a statement," he said.
