Adi Kurdi Died Due to Stroke Attack, Previously Blind Because of Glaucoma

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian entertainment world is mourning again. Senior actor Adi Kurdi, who played Abah in the TV series KELUARGA CEMARA, reportedly passed away today, Friday (8/5) at around 11:30 AM.

According to circulating reports, Adi Kurdi died due to a stroke attack and brain blockage. This news was confirmed directly by his close friend and famous scriptwriter, Harry Tjahjono.

"(He passed away due to) brain blockage or something like that, not COVID," said Harry, who received this news from Novia Kolopaking when contacted recently.

1. Admitted to Hospital

When asked further about Adi Kurdi's condition before his death, Harry Tjahjono admitted that the deceased had been admitted to the hospital. "He was admitted to the hospital, let me check (the exact details)," he added.

However, it turns out that the late Adi already had a history of illness before he died from a stroke. Harry told reporters that his friend had become blind due to glaucoma that he suffered from.

2. Already Blind

"What I know is that he had glaucoma, his vision was already gone, he was already blind. Then yesterday he was still filming TERIMA KASIH EMAK TERIMA KASIH ABAH. After that, he fell ill, like a stroke," he explained.

Adi Kurdi himself passed away at the age of 71, leaving behind a wife and one child named Maria Advena Victoria. The late's body is said to be buried at Bengkel Teater Rendra located in Depok, West Java.
