Senior actor Adjie Pangestu finally spoke out regarding the negative news linking him to the issues between singer Denada and her child, Ressa Rizky Rossano. Netizens on social media engaged in 'matching theories' and claimed that Adjie was Denada's former lover in the past who bears a physical resemblance to Ressa.

In response to this, Adjie firmly denied any special relationship between them. Adjie expressed his surprise as he felt he had never been close to the parties involved. He explained how he first learned that his name was mentioned in the issue.

"There’s 'cocoklogi', suddenly my photo was taken from Google, then it was given a caption underneath: 'his girlfriend is from 2001'. I was also a bit surprised, because personally I don’t know her. I met her once, and that was only with her ex-husband at an event," said Adjie Pangestu when met in the Tangerang area, Sunday (1/2/2026).

This 56-year-old man emphasized that his relationship with Denada is nothing more than fellow public figures who have met by chance. He assured that there has been no intense communication or work projects that have brought them together all this time.

"If hanging out together, or calling each other, or working together, that has never happened at all. So actually there is no personal relationship," he explained.

Adjie also revealed his reason for choosing not to clarify through his personal social media account. He feels that commenting amid the uproar of netizens could risk creating new misunderstandings for the public who are paying attention to this case.

"The important thing I must say, and I also don't want to make a clarification on social media, so through all of you, I can only say: I have no relationship with Denada. I do not know Denada professionally or personally," said Adjie.
