Younger Sister of Keisya Levronka Falls from the 6th Floor, Mother Demands Accountability from Campus

The accident case involving the younger sister of Keisya Levronka, Lexi Valleno Havlenda, has come back into the spotlight after nearly two years. Their mother, Levi Leonita Davies, directly conveyed her disappointment to the campus authorities through a social media post.

She believes that there has been no clear accountability for the incident that caused her son to suffer serious injuries. Through Instagram, Levi revealed the difficulties in communication with the relevant parties since the incident occurred.

"It seems that social media is indeed the way to communicate with you all, considering that two years have passed without a definite resolution and the difficulty in communicating with the relevant parties." The post then went viral and garnered public attention.

The accident occurred while Lexi was participating in a caving or wall climbing activity organized by a student organization at his campus in the Grogol area, West Jakarta. In his explanation, Levi mentioned that the safety gear used by his son came loose during the practice. "In short, on that day, my son fell from the sixth floor of the campus building because the hook came loose," he wrote.

Not only about the chronology of Lexi's fall, Levi also highlighted the first aid response after the incident. He questioned why his son was not taken directly by ambulance. In his account, Lexi was instead moved manually before being taken to the hospital using an online taxi.

Levi wrote, "Imagine my child who fell from the sixth floor of the campus building being carried and then placed in a wheelchair and pushed to the vehicle (online taxi) and laid down again in the online taxi."

As a result of the accident, Lexi suffered severe injuries to several parts of her body. She was said to have a crushed tailbone that required a pin to be inserted, trauma to the kidneys, her lungs were temporarily filled with blood, and there were tears in her liver. The recovery process has been long, and the effects are still felt to this day.

Levi also revealed that the campus and event organizers have responded, but the family feels that the offers made are not commensurate with the losses incurred. He wrote, "There has been a good response, and thank you for the good intentions, although what is being offered is still very far from the material and immaterial calculations that have already been incurred. And we cannot accept the offer yet."

This case has sparked widespread discussion about safety standards for student activities and the responsibility of educational institutions regarding risky activities on campus. The family hopes for a fair resolution, as well as an evaluation to prevent similar incidents from happening to other students.
