"Wow, my experience was that I managed to enter the Palestinian border through Jordan. I was interrogated for quite a day. My manager also became suspicious about why my face looks like an Arab, so I was checked very thoroughly," said Teuku Ryan in the Pondok Indah area, Saturday (31/1/2026).

The situation became increasingly alarming when some of his personal belongings, including communication devices, were secured by the officers. Fortunately, he received assistance from the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) so that the issue could be resolved quickly.

"Of course I'm scared, because we are in a conflict area. Jordan is also a place for Palestinian refugees. We were discussing that and suddenly after finishing the coverage, on our way back to the city we were intercepted by a military vehicle. It was really nerve-wracking," he said.
