For Ressa, the acknowledgment conveyed by the intermediary or legal representative does not erase the doubts in her heart. She feels that a truth regarding the child's status should be expressed directly by the mother. Ressa's desire is very simple, which is to hear that acknowledgment without it being represented by anyone else.
"I want to hear the acknowledgment directly from Denada's own mouth, not from someone else," Ressa said when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (31/1/2026).
In addition to wanting a verbal acknowledgment, Ressa also shows a rather cautious attitude. She does not want the acknowledgment to merely become public consumption in the media. She demands a written proof that can be legally accountable in the future.
"I don't know if what the lawyer said is true or not. I also requested a written acknowledgment," he added.
Although this issue has become widely public attention, Ressa maintains her stance that it is Denada who should appear. She believes that personal family issues like this should not only be resolved through an official statement from a law office without any personal touch from the parties involved.
"It's not Denada herself who is speaking. She wants to speak directly herself," she said.
Currently, Ressa has chosen to limit direct communication and leave all technical matters to her legal team. She seems reluctant to talk more about the details of the message she wants to convey to the singer openly in front of the camera lenses of reporters. "Let my lawyer handle it later," she concluded.
