In the post, Mieke uploaded a photo of herself with her husband. She wrote a quite long sentence stating that they fell in love at the wrong time.

"In the past, we found love at the wrong time. But only the love we believe in can make us like we are now. It's not easy, but both of us believe that Allah sees the heart, not the mistakes of the past," Mieke wrote.

2. Learning from the Past

However, from all those problems, Mieke admitted that she has learned a lot from the past. In the end, they chose to be open and strive to give their best for the family.

"Learning from the past to become better human beings, without having to hide. Both of us are not perfect, both of us are not people who never make mistakes. But now and in the future, our goal in life, InshaAllah, is to give the best for the family, especially for our children," she continued.

3. Mieke's Prayer for the Future

At the end of her writing, Mieke apologizes to Allah SWT and prays to be able to continue living with her children.

"May Allah open the door of forgiveness for all of us, may me and my husband be given health and long life so that we can always accompany our children until they are ready. InshaAllah, with love, me and my husband will continue to move forward together until our hair turns white and until age separates us... Amiiinnnn YRA," she concluded.
