"Eugenie has been playing since she was 5 years old, I only started playing actively in the last 2 years, so I'm really a newbie," she continued.
Even so, for Luna, facing Genie is an honor. She also acknowledged that her skills would definitely be very different from an opponent who is already experienced.
"So it's an honor for me as a newbie, but if you compare us, it's clear that the level is very far apart, so Eugenie, please take it easy, okay?" she said.
"From the start, this is a fun match, in terms of skill and everything it's really different, but it's just one pride for me," he added.
Meanwhile, on the same occasion, Eugenie Bouchard expressed her excitement ahead of her match against Luna Maya. She is very curious about how great Indonesian celebrities are in the sport that has made her name famous.
"I can't wait to play tennis with Luna, Luna said to take it slow, haha, but we will have fun and let's see how great our extraordinary celebrity (Luna) plays," concluded Eugenie Bouchard.
